We are a modern tattoo & body piercing studio in Middlesbrough specializing in custom work (and custom artwork), but also more than happy to work with flash and simple designs as well as lettering. Body piercing and body modification is available from us, as well as a huge range of body jewellery. We also offer laser tattoo removal with our Nero laser machine. We have resident artists (who are with us full time) and regularly host guest artists (who are with us for a limited time). Please contact us for information and availability of guest artists.

TATTOOING
All our tattooists are all fully experienced and capable of tattooing in any style, from simple solid colour work and text to large custom pieces and portraits. We specialize mainly in custom work (bespoke tattoos drawn up to the clients' specifications and tattooed on them only - not duplicated) and we also have a large range of tattoo flash (sheets in folders) for you to browse; these ready-drawn designs can be changed as well as resized and with different colours. We're happy to tattoo your own designs, if you bring them to us (drawings, symbols, print-outs of designs, etc). We're happy to give free consultations and no-obligation quotes on any tattoo work. Tattoo prices start at £40 and custom rate is £80/hour. We also offer full-day appointments for tattoo work which are priced at £400. Full portfolios from all our resident tattooists and guest artists are available for viewing in our photo section.

BODY PIERCING
We also provide a full body piercing service, everything from earlobes and noses to more extreme piercing work, like microdermals, surface piercing and even play piercing and corsetry, plus other body modification procedures. A huge range of body jewellery is also available for sale in the shop, and we can order in anything you would like as a one-off, just ask! All piercings are carried out with single use needles and sterilized surgical-grade titanium jewellery. LASER TATTOO REMOVAL
Our laser tattoo removal clinic is available all day every day (appointments available but not always necessary). Pricing depends entirely on the size of your tattoo and we need to see it ‘in the flesh,’ as it were, to give you an accurate price per session, prices start from £30 per session. We insist on a full consultation and test shot before commencing a full session. Our laser room is separate to the rest of the studio to ensure complete privacy and safety.

BODY JEWELLERY
We stock a huge range of body jewellery in the studio. From barbells and rings to tunnels, spare balls and tapers. Stock is replenished monthly and we are happy to order in anything that is not part of our regular stock. Prices are very competitive, please ask for any information on our jewellery stock. Free fitting is available on any body jewellery bought from us. We are also the only stockist of H2Ocean, Holey Butt'r and Smelly Gelly products in the area, and the only Gorilla Glass, Flaming Bones, Omerica Organic & Industrial Strength Body Jewellery Stockist in the region.

DIRECTIONS
From the main shopping street in Middlesbrough, head away from the train station, down the middle of the pedestrian strip of shops. Walk past McDonalds, continuing away from the town centre, and straight down this road. The studio is past The Crown pub (before Psyche Boutique), over the road from The Purple Pig Restaurant.

PARKING & PUBLIC TRANSPORT
There is Pay & Display car parking on the street outside for up to 2 hours, but there are several Pay & Display car parks in Middlesbrough, which are signposted, all within walking distance of the studio, the closest is Captain Cook Square. Bus & train stations are also both walking distance from the studio.

AGE RESTRICTIONS
For tattoos, genital piercing (male or female), nipple piercing, cheek/dahlia piercing and other body modification work, you must be 18 years of age or over. We will ask for photo ID if you look under 21.

For general body piercing, you must to be 16 years of age or over. We will ask for photo ID if you look under 18.

Acceptable forms of ID are: UK Passport, UK Drivers Licence (or Provisional) or a CitizenCard (www.citizencard.com). We cannot accept photocopies or birth certificates.

APPOINTMENTS
We can't take bookings over the phone, emails or over Facebook, as you need to leave a deposit (£30 minimum) when you make an appointment. This deposit comes off the final price of your tattoo and it is non-refundable unless agreed otherwise (by phone or in person) to cancel/reschedule your appointment.

If you wish to rebook or cancel your appointment, you MUST telephone the studio or call in in person. We cannot accept emails or Facebook posts/messages as notice of cancellation/request to reschedule.

We can do walk-in appointments, but as pre-booked appointments take priority, this is not always possible during busy time periods, but we aim to get you booked in as soon as possible. Any available time is available on a first-come-first-served basis. You do not need to make an appointment for piercing work or laser tattoo removal, just call in. For all enquiries, we encourage customers to come into the studio as it is much easier to deal with people face to face, as is the nature of the business. The studio is friendly with an informal atmosphere and everyone is welcome. Children must not be left unattended in the studio at any time, and they may not leave the waiting area.

We are fully registered (premises registration, and all our artists have their own personal registration), and fully insured. We adhere to and exceed council recommendations and regulations regarding hygiene and sterility.

We encourage all our clients to upload photos of work they have had done and tag us in the photo.
