Silver Owl Interiors opened in January 2014. Jude hand paints and transforms recycled furniture giving good quality items which have been cast aside, neglected or have just gone out of fashion a new lease of life. Both the recycling of the furniture and the paint range used at Silver Owl Interiors is very ‘green’. The paint has low VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) and is certified Toy Safe.
Commissions to transform and personalise customer’s furniture are welcome – a free quote for any work will happily be given.
Another very important aspect of the shop is to showcase and stock the work of talented people - alongside the furniture is a selection of unique gifts and artwork. We have jewellery, greetings cards, handmade and hand painted cushions, soaps and hand lotions, soya candles, glass art, ceramics, pottery, mosaics, bags and more………….. These items follow the ethos of Silver Owl Interiors which is that everything in the shop is specifically sourced from the UK and especially from local artists; this also plays a small part in reducing the amount of mass produced, imported items.
The shop is bright and welcoming with an eclectic style.
