Shoreham Sailing Club

We get ‘Real Sea Sailing’ but have sheltered launching just inside the harbour entrance – perfect!

Shoreham Sailing Club (SSC) is situated on the western bank of the River Adur with boats launched and recovered from our slipway into the harbour.

The club is primarily a racing club though persons not wishing to race are also very welcome. We run a racing programme from March to November/December, weather permitting. Class and handicap racing is held either in the river/harbour, or more usually out to sea. There is Sunday morning racing throughout the season and Wednesday evening racing during the summer months. The club frequently hosts weekend open meetings for a variety of fleets.
