Lyndsey Smith Photography, formerly Shooting Star Photography, is a boutique portrait studio specialising in bespoke newborn pictures, based in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside, ensuring a calm, tranquil, setting for your baby’s first images.

Your baby is only this small for a very short time. Allow me to capture the precious moment, creating a memory to treasure forever.

The ideal time to book your newborn session is around your 20 week scan to ensure the date is available. I will pencil your due date in my diary and once the baby arrives, you can contact me to arrange a firm date for the session to take place.

Newborn sessions ideally take place when the baby is between 4 and 14 days, this is when your baby sleeps the best so I am able to achieve the curly positions you see in my portfolio, so please contact me as soon as you possibly can following birth.

All sessions take place at the Lyndsey Smith Photography studio and may take between 2-4 hours so it’s best to leave the day completely open so you don’t feel any pressure, it’s important that your baby leads the way throughout the session.
