Sherwood Methodist Church

One of the strengths of our church is that we support each other at whatever stage we are on the Christian journey. There is a maturity of faith at Sherwood but also the liveliness and excitement of those who only recently have discovered Christianity. There are regular opportunities within the activity of our church for nurturing faith and for helping those who may be ‘seeking’ faith.
Similarly, newcomers to our church often have experiences of other Christian traditions. We are a cosmopolitan church and benefit from the rich experience of Christians who have joined us from other denominations and cultures. We welcome questions about the Methodist Church and its particular place within the wider Christian community.
We are keen to strengthen our links with and involvement in the local community of Sherwood, and have made this a priority over the coming year.
