Sawers Belfast

Sawers is a family business established in 1897 that has always prided itself on stocking an extensive range of quality foods from around the globe. Serving the best Game, Poultry, Seafood & Cheese, Sawers is as famous in Belfast as the Titanic & in fact supplied the R.M.S. Titanic with all the above & more for it's onboard functions.

Sawers had a fleet of delivery vehicles in the city ensuring prompt response to customers urgent orders. This van was supplied by the well known Ford dealers J.E. Coulter Ltd, Antrim Road Belfast.

In the 1960's Sawers moved to Castle Street & became one of Belfast's most prestigious landmarks. People still recall the fabulous, exotic fish tank, solid marble counters & decor from around the world.

In 1982 Sawers moved to smaller premises just around the corner in the Fountain Centre. Although smaller Sawers always found a way to display it's huge range of products to the public. Using every inch of available space Sawers managed to cram in Belfast's largest selections of cheese, fresh fish, olives, fresh & cured meats & all the fruit & vegetables you could ever need.

Today Sawers is still renowned for providing the finest in culinary delights sourced from the most reputable suppliers, carefully chosen to give the customer only the very best products. Sawers remains commited to expanding its search of the world's best cuisine & its range of services including corporate business events, wedding receptions & dinner parties
