Novice to experienced surfers will be well catered for with a local surf school offering tuition to all ages plus surfboard and wetsuit hire. Porthtowan is a thriving coastal village with a relaxed vibe and a good range of local facilities. Within a few moments walk of the apartment are a small supermarket, a delicatessen and an ice cream shop as well as three pub/restaurants including the popular Blue Bar and Kitchen. The spectacular South West Coast Path runs through the village towards the beaches of Chapel Porth and St Agnes in the east and Portreath in the west so be sure to bring your walking boots. For a more cosmopolitan day out head to Falmouth, just 30 minutes away by car on the south coast and enjoy a day of shopping, browsing art galleries or explore the National Maritime Museum. Part of a small development, the apartment is on a no through road that leads to the beach. Offering flexible accommodation for groups of four there is a double room with a 5' king size bed and a second room offering a double lower bunk and single upper making it suitable for couples or children (guest numbers are limited to four). The bright open plan living space has great light with French windows opening out to a super deck with views of the sea. Here you can relax away from the activity of the beach with a good book or cook up some fresh local fish on the barbecue.
