Sandbanks : can be located at the eastern end of the long sandy beach that stretches from Sandbanks to way out past Bournemouth. The main attraction is the beach itself, being known as the best beach in England it has been awarded the beautiful 'European Blue Flag' year on year for the beaches cleanliness and great water quality. Many tourists flock to the beach yearly and in the summer particularly. The beach is so shallow that you can walk out into the sea almost 200yds safely, the water is fresh and clean and also the sand is of great quality. Also popular for windsurfers and generally all people that like water sports. During the busy months between the 1st May and 30 Sept, you will find Lifeguards on duty and also a First Aid post if required.

How to get to Sandbanks.. From Poole take the B3369 Sandbanks Road around Poole Harbour. This becomes Shore Road. From Bournemouth take the A35 road to the Fitzharris roundabout at Westbourne, and then The Avenue (B6035) past Branksome Chine and through Canford Cliffs to Sandbanks. It will come of no suprise that there an abundance of Hotels and general accommodation.
