RSPCA Newcastle & North Northumberland is the most northern of the 187 RSPCA local branches, covering an area from Newcastle Upon Tyne and Gateshead to Berwick Upon Tweed and the Scottish Borders.
Our branch has been caring for abandoned, abused and unowned injured animals since 1873.This has been achieved with the help, support and contributions of the local community.
The Newcastle & North Northumberland Branch of the RSPCA is an independently registered charity.
Despite public perception the RSPCA is NOT a Government Agency and as a branch of the RSPCA, Newcastle & North Northumberland, is a separately registered branch of the RSPCA and responsible for raising funds locally.
All work that we do in this local area is funded, supported and continued by direct donations to the Newcastle & North Northumberland Branch of the RSPCA
Please remember that the RSPCA only exists because of Public Donations and Support.
