About us

The Rotherham United Community Sports Trust works alongside Rotherham United Football Club to bring a better standard of living to various groups across the borough of Rotherham.

Rotherham United Community Sports Trust is a community development programme that works across the borough of Rotherham in deprived areas with different communities and age groups, delivering under the three main themes of the Football League Trust: Education, Health & Wellbeing and Sport and Community Development.

Through the power of football we promote physical and emotional health, healthy eating, healthy lifestyle, learning, confidence building, social integration and community cohesion.

The Rotherham United Community Sports Trust delivers a wide range of activities across the three key themes that reflects needs of the diverse communities of Rotherham that it serves. Working in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the town, the Trust has delivered activity for over 61,000 participants in the last year.

Rotherham United Community Sports Trust has been named the Coca-Cola Community Club of the Year at the Football League Awards 2012.

Rotherham United Community Sports Trust has been named Yorkshire & Humber regional Community Club of the Year at the Football League Awards 2016.
