Ross Street Market

Ross Street Market launched in December 2016, introducing a new monthly arts, food and drink outdoor market in the East End of Glasgow. Ross Street Market will take place on the first Saturday of every month from 11am - 5pm, as part of the historic Barras Market.

Ross Street Market is the result of a 6-month design + build project commissioned by Many Studios to the University of Strathclyde. In response to the project, Fraser Yardley and Gina Colley created the design for six striking, modular stalls that considered the changing climate of the Barras Market and sought to celebrate and expand upon the existing identity of the Barras Market.
