Rose House Butchery

Located in an 16th Century stable block, the setting provides a fantastic backdrop to the courses run by The Artisan Butcher, as well as a great retail setting.

Of course, the butchery will be specialising in traditional, native and rare breed and will be reviving by-gone techniques to bring you a fantastic, traditional butchers with the highest quality meat with a focus on curing and charcuterie too.

The main building is a grade II listed C16th (we think) three-story former pub and hotel that has been converted to a large self contained office. This is where GNMA will be based running their 1-2-1 Information Advice and Guidance sessions as well as training courses in IT and Employability skills being the main provision at the minute and not forgetting the new Food Hygiene course, run by me. It’s a fantastic building with plenty of room for future development and potential. As GNMA is now a NCFE approved centre they have a whole host of courses that we will be running in the coming months. There’s also the option to build their own accredited courses, which will give them so much scope for some bespoke courses so watch this space!
