Rollin Cambridge: Basic information

Rolling Cambridge is a rollerblade school fitness type.


What is a rollerblade? It is a skate a type of skate in which the wheels are set in a single straight line under the boot.
If you want to learn different skills and techniques to use your rollers safety, this is your place.
We host different levels:
White: Learn how to wear the equipment, stand up, keep the balance, safety fall, start the march, basic turns.
Yellow: Improve your balance, improve the turns, learn different ways of breaking, initiation to the backward march, first tricks.
Green: 1-foot march, advance backward march, advance break, tricks, initiation to jump.
Blue: Advance tricks and jumps, street rolling, drifting, long distances.


We accept different groups of ages and knowledge. So you can join us from 7 years old to 151.

When: Saturdays from 14:00 to 18:00
Where: Chesterton Sports Centre, Chesterton Community college, Gilbert Rd, Cambridge CB43NY

Rates
Course: 60£ for 8 lessons of 2 hours each.
Day pass: 10£ for 1 lesson of 2 hours.
Trial day for free.

Equipment:
To join us you need skates in line and a standard protection set (knee pads, elbow pads, wrist pads, helmet).

F.A.Q.

1. Can I rent the equipment to Rolling Cambridge?
Not yet, sorry.

2. Do you offer lessons during the week?
Hopefully, we'll be able to do it in the future.

3. Is skating dangerous?
Nope, If you learn from professionals with experience and keep your head over your shoulders… and into a helmet.

4. How many children will you have in a group?
A minimum of 4 and never more than 8
5. Are you mixing adults and children?
No. Children will stay together in a different group.

6. Do you have lessons at different times?
If people request it we can have lessons on Saturday from 16:00 to 18:00 or Sundays from 14:00 to 16:00 but would need people enough to open a group.
