Rock and River

Rock and River is an Outdoor Adventure Centre for groups and schools in the North West. It’s Climbing and Raft Building, Kayaking, High Ropes and Archery - it’s 18 different ways to experience the great outdoors on one site.

Whether you are bringing your school, a birthday party, a scout or guide group or you're a business looking for a great team building experience we’ve got your perfect day covered. We’ve got two sites in the North West - our main site in Mawdesley (near Chorley & Ormskirk) and smaller site near Rochdale. Both are in beautiful rural settings, with great facilities - from our indoor climbing wall and archery ranges to high ropes course and purpose built water sports lake - we’ve also got a 45 bed bunkhouse and camping for residential visits. We’re open all year round, whatever the weather.
