Robin Hood Folk Festival

The ancestral home of Lord Byron, Newstead Abbey Park hosted its first and only Folk Festival on the 4th, 5th & 6th September 2015.

A superb offering of music was on show with a lineup including:

Show of Hands, Moulettes, Eric Andersen, Oysterband, Martin Carthy & Dave Swarbrick, Jon Spiers, Martin Simpson, Greg Russell & Ciaran Agar, Eastwick, The Young’uns, Heg & The Wolf Chorus, Gerry Colvin, The Hut People, Sam Green & The Midnight, Heist, Kate In The Kettle, Ben Reel, Muntaner Duo, Moirai, Miranda Sykes & Rex Preston, Marianne Green, Terry & Gerry, Worry Dolls and plenty more!

Lots to do for all the family including archery, a crafts market, lots of food, lots of drink, Robin Hood and other entertainment for the kids, free parking and a beautiful camping area for the whole weekend within the Abbey grounds.
