Richard specialises in reflecting the personalities of his clients.

My passion for photography came from my early days in the Royal Navy, when I worked as a professional photographer on a wide variety of commissions across the world. One day I’d be at a military event, the next I’d be taking portrait shots of a captain, and the next I’d be on an exercise recording the action for later assessment. It certainly taught me to think on my feet and be ready for any eventuality or situation and is something I use every day in my life as a photographer.

For the last ten years, I’ve photographed many weddings, families, newborns, children, models, fashion shows and events. I enjoy meeting people and seeing their world through the lens to produce original, creative and informal photography that will be looked at, admired and cherished for years to come.
