More about Rhema Family Church London

Our History:

We had our first fellowship meeting in our home on Sunday the 17th of July 2016 with 6 excited people. We continued to meet about every two to three weeks over the remainder of the summer. Our meetings consisted of a very short teaching, followed by prayer for the new church, and then fellowship.

In September, we moved to Regents University London as our venue, and began to meet bi-weekly for teaching and prayer in preparation to move forward into launch team meetings. From the 8th of January 2017, we started formal launch team meetings every Sunday at 1pm, with the aim to build community and to equip us corporately to properly launch the church in 2017.

Why We Are Doing What We Do:

To date, we haven’t gone ‘public’ with our church. We trust the Lord to bring us those that are called to help us in our launch. Currently, people are hearing by word of mouth, and it is exciting to see what the Lord is doing. We are growing already!

What Our Launch Team Meetings Look Like:

Service – This begins at 1pm and consists of worship, notices, offering and the teaching of the word on our RFC Core Values. We believe this is vital so that every member of our launch team knows the RFC mission, vision and values that define and guide us as a church. This is followed by a time of prayer.

Prayer - Prayer is foundational to everything God is doing, and we use this time to pray into the vision of the church. After prayer, we plan for the launch.

Planning – Planning is essential as we prepare for the birth of our new church, so that we have the supportive areas of ministry in place, and people properly prepared to serve in them. We follow this with a time of fellowship.

Fellowship – Community cannot be achieved without devoting some time just for fun and fellowship. And sharing tea/coffee together is a great place for this to begin. We generally finish up each Sunday by about 3pm.
