Rest Bay Lifeguard Club

Rest Bay Lifeguard Club patrols Rest Bay beach, Porthcawl. We train members in lifesaving techniques and provide opportunities to compete in Surf Life Saving Sport. Our members range in age from 7 upwards.

The club works hard to provide the best possible lifesaving equipment at Rest Bay for use by our members whilst patrolling the beach or taking part in surf lifesaving sport.

We have an excellent relationship with the local authority and the lifeguards who work at Rest Bay are members of and have been trained by the club.

The local authority lifeguards are supported daily by club volunteers and our extensive lifesaving equipment which includes powercraft, paddle boards etc.
