My name is Louise and I am a Reiki Master practitioner/Teacher . I have an affinity with spiritual healing as my grandmother was also a natural healer. I belong to a group of lovely people, and my part in this group is to channel my healing. I trained in Belfast.
I live in Ballyclare in a lovely quiet spot.. I have two wonderful children and a great partner. Through a friend I found Reiki and just knew this journey was for me. This was my chance to give something back, a real life changing experience, allowing me to give healing, to bring happiness into others lives (which is so important to me), that I feel this is my true path.
A big part of Reiki is self healing, which I do every day to make me a stronger healer; this is passed onto all of my clients.
Many of my clients have wondered what Reiki actually is? The good news is that Reiki is nothing to be afraid of. Reiki healing can be given for physical, mental, spiritual or stress related ailments, or just for plain relaxation. It is an age old healing remedy that involves relaxation and also helps well being and healing from within the body. Reiki supports all forms of treatment both orthodox and complementary. There is no need to remove any clothing as Reiki will pass through anything, even plaster casts. If someone is very ill and cannot lie down, treatment can be given in a sitting position. I would gently place my healing hands non-intrusively in a sequence of positions, which cover the whole body. A full treatment would take about ¾ to 1 hour, from this treatment; the healing energy will continue to flow through your body for up to 2 days, although the overall effects can be felt for longer, this is dependant on the type of dis-ease. You will leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.
Referrals: One of my clients has suffered with Crohn’s disease for a number of years. After receiving regular Reiki, over a period of a few months, she started to feel much better within herself and after a visit to her Consultant has recently been told that she is now Crohn’s free.
