More about Regent Hall Salvation Army

The Regent Hall was a Victorian roller skating rink until it was purchased in 1882 by The Salvation Army’s founder, William Booth. Still affectionately known as ‘The Rink’, this Christian centre houses a coffee and bookshop open throughout the week, as well as drop-in centre for people experiencing homelessness and a boutique charity shop.

You will receive a warm and friendly welcome at any of our activities and services; we are there when you need us, offering compassionate support, a listening ear and practical help.

Music plays an important role in the life of our church and our brass band is seen most Sundays marching down Oxford Street. We also have a senior choir and community gospel choir as well as a children's choir and brass band. We have activities for all ages and are available to host conferences, events and concerts; contact us for more information
