We also have the facilities to video record your time in the studio which works great for music videos or if your trying to start a youtube channel.

Red Rooms Music and Recording Studios is ran by an engineer who has a degree in Music Technology and is Pro Tools User certified so you know you are in the hands of someone who will be able to capture that perfect performance.

We help support the local talent and are always happy to share their work they record with us getting it out to a new audience.

We are also proud that we are the home of A Drum Above The Rest - Durham Drum Lessons, drum tuition to all ages and abilities. We have merged together to be able to offer drum tuition as well as bass and guitar lessons and being in the studio for your lessons means we can record and capture all the hard work you do!

Prices range from £20 for backing track recordings, £35 for single video and music recordings, £80 for a full day in the studio. All include full mix and masterings services. Get in touch with what you are after so we can give you the best price we can offer.
