Red Hot Music

Red Hot Music puts on one or two DIY gigs a month in London, Berkshire, Bucks, Surrey and Hampshire and nearby. Often RHM gigs are free entry and many times RHM gets no or next to no cut from the bar: nobody's getting rich. But nobody's getting scammed either. No pay-to-play or selling tickets up front. If RHM manages to cover costs on a gig - whether from a bar % or donations on the night - anything over is shared x ways where x = the number of bands + 1, the +1 being RHM.

RHM is interested in original bands that rock and roll, from psychobilly, punk and pop punk to rhythm and blues and hard rock. Motorhead yes, screamers no. Electronica, disco, house, rap, no. Tribute acts, no (although we might make an exception if you are a tribute to a band we utterly love). Singer/songwriters, no. Covers bands... a few covers in your set that you've made your own, yes, but you most likely won't fit if you play songs everybody knows using arrangements taken straight from the recording.
