About us..

Our retreats are hosted by Gini Lort-Phillips, owner of Knowles Farm, and run by Amber Rich fitness and wellness expert.

Gini's husband David farmed the land since the 60s. His son and daughter in law, Owen and Laure, converted the estate to run organically in the 90s. Owen was a founder of the Calon Wen Welsh milk cooperative which now supplies scrumptious organic milk, cheese and butter to supermarkets and delis across the UK.

Amber has run her own fitness and wellbeing centre for many years and managed health clubs both in the UK and overseas before that. She is a fully qualified Pilates instructor, nutrional advisor, massage therapist, personal trainer and holistic core restore coach

For years guests have visited Knowles Farm to enjoy the beautiful surroundings at Gini's award winning bed and breakfast. Now Gini and Amber have joined forces bringing together Gini's thoughtful and experienced hospitality and Amber's professional and engaging wellness expertise.

Knowles really is your home for your stay, to explore and enjoy at your leisure. There enough space for eveyone to escape, and wonderful places to come together and join in.

Knowles Farm is set in the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside in Britain's only coastal National Park. The farmhouse and grounds provide a stress free haven above the Cleddau estuary, a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. With an abundance of local wildlife set in ancient woodland, you can really feel at one with nature. Every season has a special feel and the gardens bloom and blossom with different colours and scents from Spring to Autumn.
