Rapid is a family run department store based in Liverpool since 1971. Originally based in Renshaw Street, our core business was DIY/Garden. In August 2009 Rapid moved its entire operation into the former George Henry Lee Building located at Williamson Square, right in the heart of the city centre, directly beneath the Radio City Tower.

We have now fully refurbished over 100,00 sq ft to give our customers an even better, brighter shopping experience all under one roof, (it's a big roof!) We also have a fantastic new Signature Cafe in store serving hot and cold wholesome Liverpool favourites, including scouse!

In 2012 Rapid celebrated over 40 years of retailing in Liverpool City Centre, helping to provide thousands of loyal customers with all their home and garden requirements.

There is an amazing 5 massive floors at the new Rapid, in fact our customers tell us they can easily spend a whole day shopping in each and every department.
