Race Day for SPRING

SPRING is a local charity based at St. Mary’s Maternity Unit, Poole (Registered Charity No. 1058808). It was established in 1998 to provide support to parents and relatives who have experienced the death of a baby during pregnancy, at, or just after birth. This includes miscarriage, stillbirth and termination for foetal abnormality. Over the years the charity has evolved to help many families and friends through such devastating times.

The event will offer something for everyone; a 10k for serious runners aiming for their personal best; a 5k for novice runners looking for a challenge and a 1.5k Fun Run. As well as the running events there will also be refreshments and children’s activities.

The 10k and 5k races are on country tracks within the park and are completely off road. They have been accurately measured and will be run in accordance with UK Athletics rules.
