What do I love to do? Any opportunity to stretch my strengths. This may be 1:1 coaching or mentoring conversations, facilitating workshops, designing programmes or quenching my thirst for knowledge by learning what's new in Coaching & Mentoring.

Through curious questioning and active listening I help facilitate self-discovery and learning. I love to see people recognise their strengths and realise their potential. I get a buzz from seeing people work out what they need to do for themselves. My skill is questioning people to really pinpoint their needs (in another life I’d loved to have been a Murder Detective!).

I like to challenge people to stretch & discover how to move successfully out of their comfort zone to help achieve their goals. So, with that thought in mind, in June 2014 I stretched myself and left corporate life as a Senior Talent Leader to establish my own Consultancy, Quirky Bird Consulting, which is coming into its own from March 2015, due a career break in Melbourne, Australia.

So you can see from my experience, my background is in Learning, Development & Talent with over 15 years’ experience in dynamic and fast paced organisations. In that time you could say I’ve gained quite a bit of experience in Leading Teams as well as designing, implementing & delivering a range of Leadership and Talent strategies & programmes.
