Puffin's Rest

Puffin's Rest is a 1920's mid terraced cottage, recently refurbished to provide good quality self catering holiday accommodation in the coastal village of Amble. It is situated in an idyllic location a mere 200 metres from a small beach with rocky outcrops and views to Coquet Island. There are many facilities available within a short walk of Puffin's Rest, including small beaches, rocky outcrops, the marina, swimming pool and the harbour where you can charter fishing boats or book a boat trip to Coquet Island, where puffins and grey seals are regularly seen. Amble is known locally as 'the friendliest port' and has a good range of shops and eating places.

Within walking distance is the picturesque village of Warkworth, dominated by its majestic castle, only 2 miles north; and just south of Amble is Druridge Bay with a 7 mile stretch of beach and a country park - ideal for cycling, walking, water sports and horse riding.
