PTR is a family business established in 1989 with a wealth of experience and a proven track record in delivering a quality IT Training & Consultancy service for more than 25 years.

Our consultants and instructors are expert in their fields and come to the classroom or the business with real world and relevant experience to ensure that our clients get the best possible service and solution.

As a family business we care that little bit more and focus on the needs of the individual and their business. PTR is vendor independent so whether it consultancy or training that you need you can rest assured that you will receive balanced impartial advice and guidance based on years of experience.

WHY PTR FOR TRAINING?
Our courses are not exam curriculum driven, they are driven by your need to do your job and the content has been carefully selected with that goal in mind. All of our courses offer extensive hands-on opportunity with at least 50% of class time delegated to labs so that important concepts are grasped and re-enforced in the classroom.

Want to take an exam? Not a problem. Our courses more than prepare you for associated vendor exams and exams can be sat at any convenient testing centre local to the delegate when they feel prepared and ready.

We can tailor courses to meet your exact requirements. They can be delivered as a one to one or a closed course at our premises or delivered at your premises.

Many of our public courses are guaranteed to run, no cancellation. Even if a course is not guaranteed to run we do everything we can to run it, even if only 1 or 2 delegates in attendance.

We offer a post course support service. Just email our instructors with your questions. It is always after you get back to work that you think of the question you wanted to ask, or can't quite figure out how to apply a new skill to your work situation.

YOUR PTR TRAINING EXPERIENCE
An instructor or consultant is always available to discuss your requirements where a more technical qualification is required.

PTR keep class sizes small, typically between 4 and 10, to maximise instructor to delegate time and provide delegates with the optimum environment to learn. Small class sizes means delegates get to know each other and their instructor throughout the course and have ample time to tackle labs, share experiences and ask questions.

Each day will start with a review of the previous day's key learning points (where the course is longer than 1 day!), offering a question and answer opportunity.

All delegates will have a dedicated workstation for the duration of the course, and will have a printed copy of the course manual to take away with them. Any course data used or created throughout the course will also be available to take away at the end of the course. Pens , pencils and notepaper will also be provided.

Delegates are treated to a restaurant lunch every day, and have access to free hot drinks from our quality Flavia drinks machine, a fridge full of free soft drinks and of course chilled water.

Internet access is available from all delegate workstations and free wireless access is also available.

Training rooms are equipped with air conditioning for delegate comfort.

WHY PTR FOR CONSULTANCY?
Our consultancy service is built on a sound foundation of real world experience, where only the most experienced consultants are sent out to clients.

Before any consultancy is undertaken a consultant will discuss the project requirements with the client and produce a proposal document for approval or amendment by the client.

Our consultancy service is very much a collaborative partnership. We can offer a solely implementation service, or a more co-operative, mentoring, supportive style consultancy service where our consultant works with the client on a project guiding and training as well as "doing" along the way.

All consultancy projects can include a report documenting discussions, recommendations and actions.
