Precious Memories Childcare

My childminding setting is a nice mix between an educational and homely setting that can provide care for up to 8 children on a daily basis when working with an assistant.
My team and I do lots of activities from telling stories to weekly trips out and about in the community to promote the learning and development of each of the children using the service. We work very closely with children and families to provide good quality tailored care for each individual.
Within the property there is a dedicated messy playroom, an additional sensory playroom, a living room area for quiet activities and relaxing, the kitchen where adults and children prepare fresh meals and snacks from our 5 week menu and sit to eat together and a large enclosed garden area to the rear with free access so the children can get out to play regularly, this has lots of resources to promote their physical abilities and imagination amongst other skills.
We have regular small outings to local parks and grassy areas where we enjoy using our imaginations and practicing mindful activities, this happens alongside our weekly full day outings to places such as visiting parks, woods and soft plays all over East Lothian, trips to the library, farms, butterfly world, museums, the zoo and anything else the children can think off.
