Poetic Pieces

I graduated with a First- class degree in English and Contemporary Media and am now going on to do my Masters in English Lit . For a couple of years I dabbled in making jewellery- mainly beaded, but a few months ago I decided to combine my love for literature with my hobby and in doing so created Poetic Pieces. I take some of my favourite quotes and sometimes illustrations and make them into lovely glass pendants, earrings, bangles etc. I also sometimes use actual page fragments from books which means that no piece of jewellery can ever be the same as I can only use that particular fragment once, creating a unique gift. I also make a lot of custom pieces for people, but I involve you in every step of the way. I often research the book or the quote to get a feel for what type of style the piece should have, I then make various designs which I send you and you choose the design you most prefer. I then take the payment, go ahead and make the piece and send it to you in the mail- it's as easy as that!

Perhaps what is equally important though is that this is much more than a business page- it is also a community. I post literature related posts on a daily basis- things which I feel a lot of people would enjoy or can relate to, I run numerous competitions and sales and I frequently ask for your opinions or what literature you would like to see made into lovely pieces of jewellery.
