Plume Of Feathers, Castlemorton

The Plume of Feathers on the edge of Castlemorton Common has re-opened after six months of closure. This ancient watering hole has remained unspoiled and unaltered. We have a good selection of real ales on draught. Wye Valley Butty Bach and Thwaites Original are regulars plus a Guest Ale.

Examples of our Guest Ales are - Sebright Golden Ale 3.8% from Unity Brewery in Suckley- a straw coloured ale with medium bitterness, fruity aromas and flavours and Shropshire Lad 4.5% from Woods Brewery in Shropshire – a sweetish draught followed by a subtle bitterness and fruity overtones.

Food is available every lunchtime 12-2.30pm and evening 6-9pm. Our food menu offers everyday pub meals such as Cottage Pie (£6.95), Lasagne (£7.95) and Scampi and Chips (£8.95). However, our Thai Chef also offers several authentic Thai dishes which are advertised on our Specials Board – currently Thai Green Chicken Curry & Rice, Mixed Seafood Special Fried Rice, Spicy Pork & Rice and Vegetable Curry & Rice (V) all for only £6.95.
