Platform 22

You'll find Platform 22 in the village of Torphins at the heart of Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire. It is situated about 7 miles north-west of Banchory, roughly 22 miles west of Aberdeen. Platform 22 is on the sight of the villages railway station for the Great North of Scotland Railway which ran from Aberdeen to Ballater.

We maybe a small rural business, but we pack a lot in!

At the heart of the business is Emma's ceramic artwork, created and made at the bottom of our garden in her studio, which is showcased in Platform 22.
Our licenced café has a selection of homemade food and baking using locally sourced and Scottish fare giving you a taste of the best of Scotland. We offer an extensive range of award winning loose leaf teas, speciality coffees and sumptuous hot chocolates; as well as fruit juices, smoothies and sparkling drinks too.
Platform 22 stocks an eclectic selection of Scottish wines, whiskies, ales, ciders and liqueurs all available on and off sales.

We also host Scotland's only outdoor weekly produce farmers market that runs throughout the year every Wednesday from 10am to 2pm; Torphins Market is held in our forecourt .. whatever the weather!!!
