Pilgrims Tearooms & Licensed Restaurant

Pilgrims Tearooms is situated within the tranquil grounds of Brecon Cathedral. A contemporary building which retains the charm and style of the adjacent 15th century tithe barn; the fully licensed tearooms is run by Toni & Andy Borgia, who continue Pilgrims longstanding reputation for providing traditional home cooking, using locally sourced and many organic ingredients, all freshly prepared on the premises.

Open seven days a week with seasonal opening times (summer: 9.00am to 5.00pm, winter: 10.00am to 4pm), Pilgrims has a wide selection to offer. Great value breakfasts served until 11am, the lunch menu provides a variety of hot and cold meals served between 11.30am-2.30pm, other home-made snacks and award winning cakes are available throughout the day. Traditional roast lunches are served every Sunday, very popular with locals and visitors alike (booking advisable). The tearooms also open to serve light suppers before Cathedral Concerts through-out the year.

Indoor and outdoor seating (on a summer’s day, a cream tea around the beautiful herb garden is a must!). Pilgrims can cater for any occasion (minimum 15 people), with separate dining areas available in the Heritage Centre and Diocesan Centre.
