Phil is a qualified therapist, accredited by the London School of Sports & Remedial massage at Regents College in London. With many years experience in sports participation, Phil decided to pursue a career in the sports sector. After training & competing in marathon and half marathon running, Phil particularly became interested in the manipulation and rehabilitation of muscles and how this can be achieved through soft tissue massage.

Sports massage is not only for the professional athlete, it can be beneficial to recreational sports people and anyone wishing to relieve excess muscle tension and tightness. Sports massage can also be used in conjunction with other therapies such as Physiotherapy and Osteopathy. Phil is a registered member of the Institute of Sports & Remedial Massage (ISRM), a professional body that requires its members to continue their professional development and education. ISRM members are trained to a strict code of conduct to ensure safe and professional practice. As well as his own clinic Phil practices from two other locations, The Smithy Clinic, a physiotherapy clinic in Bromham and Bowood Hotel and Spa in Calne. Prices may vary in each.
