Hi, My name is Sandra Louise Jones. Ever since I was a little girl I have had a talent for dressmaking, and drawing my own designs. Although after leaving school and taking a clerical path, I still used my creative talents over the years.

I designed and made my own wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses, at the age of 18. My skills also came in handy for my sister's wedding a few years later.

In april 2011 was my own daughters wedding, and although she didn't want me to take too much on, I did help out with her bridesmaid dresses. I also made her a 4 tier wedding cake, mini wedding cakes to match and a selection of cupcakes, But it was the need for a hooped petticoat that prompted me to set to and make one for her. It was a double hooped petticoat trimmed with lace and blue bows (for her something blue) she said it was so comfortable, and hardly noticed she was wearing it. I was even offered a position with a local seamstress when she saw my petticoat. That's when the seed was sewn for Petticoat's Galore.
