I am a childminder and have been registered with Ofsted since 2015.
I am a mother of three children and step mother to another three children. I have worked with in the care sector since the age of 18, firstly working with adults, with learning disabilities and most recently being a special needs teaching assistant at a mainstream school. I have had lots of experience with Autism, ADHA, attachment disorder and downs syndrome.
I live with my partner and two children.
Both my partner and I have had DBS checks.
I have also been a respite carer and foster carer.
I have NVQ level 2 and 3 in care and NVQ level 3 teaching assistant qualification, plus other forms of relevant qualifications that I have completed in my working life. Including Child protection.
I believe that a strong learn/play, caring and safe environment is the best way for children to grow both academically and emotionally. Each child has their own unique way of learning and developing and as a childminder it is my role to establish this and help children gain the knowledge and skills to enable them to move on and through school successfully.
