ABOUT ME & PAWPRINTS

My name is Lesley Baldwin and my job is walking and looking after dogs.

I have a dog of my own - Chip (Chippy Long Legs), a 5 year old hairy lurcher.

I’ve had dogs all my life and simply can’t get enough of them.

When out walking with my dogs I’ve come across other dog owners who sometimes need help with their pooches but are unsure about leaving them with people they don’t know.

This prompted me to start Pawprints Dog Walking & Day Care Service.

I’ve recently taken early retirement and have been inundated with requests for help from my work colleagues. Most of these people are nursing and medical staff who work shifts and they find it difficult to find dog day care for the hours they work.

I have arranged my working day around these shifts so that I can offer care on a basis which suit’s the owners. The care I offer is in my own home so that dogs are in a home environment all day and never isolated.

I am fully insured - public liability including key holders policy.
I have a small van so that I can collect and drop off dogs. Cages for small dogs if needed and car harnesses for bigger dogs.
I am CRB checked.
I have completed a First Responder course - first aid for animals.


PRICES

Dog Walks

Full 1 hour £10:00 (for outside Bath, mileage may be charged)

Half hour £ 7:50

25% discount for each additional dog per household.

Full 1 hour for solo dog walks £12:00


Day Care

Up to 8 hours £15:00

Over 8 hours £20:00


Boarding

Per 24 hours £25:00 (discounts for full weeks boarding)


Weekend: add £5:00 additional to above prices
Bank Holiday: add £10:00 additional to above prices

PREFERENCES / TERMS

All dogs should be micro chipped & wear an ID tag
Boarders must be fully up to date with their vaccinations & flea treatments
I will attach a tag with my own details as extra when I walk your dog
Clients to supply suitable collars, leads, harnesses & muzzles where applicable
Dogs will be walked on leads unless in a safe exercise area & with the owners knowledge / permission for them to be off lead
I provide poo bags, treats & towels to dry wet / muddy dogs but I cannot guarantee complete cleanliness!
Clients to inform me if dogs are allowed treats eg: to assist with recall
All clients must have their dogs insured
In case of accidental injury, I will take your dog to your vet. This will be covered by your insurance
Bitches in season not suitable
Serious behavioural / aggression issues not suitable
All agreed payments due on day of walk / daycare / visit or on the last walk of the week
Cash, cheque or bank transfer accepted.
If payment is not made on time, no further walks / care will take place until payment is made in full

BOARDERS

Must be sociable
Must be tolerant of cats
Clients to supply dogs own food, food bowls, beds etc

VAN -
Crates for small dogs, harnesses for bigger dogs.
First aid kit
Water always available
