Paul Dracott Garden Designs

Paul Dracott msgd is an experienced, professional and widely respected garden designer based in Cambridge. Paul is full member of the Society of Garden Designers and has been practicing for 17 years.

Gardens are designed to be in harmony with their setting and the architecture of the building. His location in Cambridge has given him the opportunity to work on gardens ranging from contemporary roof terraces to large country gardens. All are approached with sensitivity to client's needs and tastes.

Paul offers a personal and flexible approach to garden design including design, construction management, planting and garden lighting. His garden building team has a sensitivity to design and work to the highest standard.

A Paul Dracott garden design consists of a strong underlying structure of quality hard landscape materials, softened with full and naturalistic planting. All aspects are chosen to reflect the tastes and requirements of the client, their home, and the wider landscape setting.

Paul as won several awards and competitions for his gardens. 106 Long Road in Cambridge and a large garden in Whittlesford won Association of Professional Landscapers awards. A country garden in Cambridge (featured on a Youtube clip) was selected by the Garden Design Journal as one of the best 10 designs in 2011 (see Facebook page for PDFs). Paul has a permanent garden built at RHS Wisley and his conceptual garden ‘The Exoskeleton’ built as a temporary garden at Future Gardens (now Butterflyword) is now a permanent feature.

Recently Paul has designed and built seven roof terraces on Accordia in Cambrigde. These terraces are gaining Paul recognition in this specialist area of design and build and he has recently been commission to design the penthouse garden for the new development, Waterside in Cambridge.
