Parish of Bitterne church is a group of ordinary people who worship an extraordinary God.
At the top of Bitterne precinct next to the Red Lion pub you will find ‘Holy Saviour’, an Anglican church, originally built in the 1850s, with a more recent addition, the ‘Church Room’, to the rear.
We also use the Parish Hall on Whites Road for a range of activities including; ‘Rainbow’, our Toddlers’ Group, Dreggs Youth group, and for regular events such as Messy Church and Seniors’ Tea. It is also used by groups from around the community.
Our varied services include:
Sunday
9am – Traditional service
10.30am – A service for all (with children’s activities)
7pm – Relaxed service
Wednesday
10am – Holy Communion
Saturday
10.30am – Messy Church (monthly)
