Parish Churches of Alresford, Elmstead and Thorrington - Tenpenny Villages

St Andrew's is a lively, modern church with worship band and is the Parish Church for Alresford and is situated near to the Village Hall and playing fields.The Sunday Services are at 11am with Sunday Club for 3-15s. See website or noticeboard for evening services. There are groups for children, young people & adults throughout the week, Messy Church on the 3rd Friday at 4.30pm and an Internet & Book Cafe on alternate Wednesday mornings.

St Anne and St Laurence Elmstead is in a beautiful setting along Church Road in Elmstead. Sunday services which are more traditional are at 10am with a Sunday Club for children from September 2016. Messy Church is held on the 1st Sunday at 4.30pm.
St Mary Magdalen is again in a beautiful setting just outside Thorrington off the Clacton Road. Sunday services are at 9.30am.
