Oxted Cat Care

Oxted Cat Care is run by Wendy and Nick Collister. We live with our own adorable cats, Penny and Tiddles, older cats adopted six years ago. We also have a rescue dog called Toby. We will care for your cats as if they are our own and, as well as attending to their food, drink and litter, we will give them plenty of love and affection while you are away. You will also have the peace of mind that someone will visit your home during your absence. We can make your home look lived in, by taking in any post, drawing curtains, putting on lights, putting bins out, and watering a few plants as required.

We can do one or two calls each day for you You can choose from 20 minute or 30 minute calls. Whilst in our care, if your cat is unwell, we will take him or her to the vets for you, at no charge for the time involved. We will happily update you on progress by text or email while you are away. Otherwise, we will leave you a note to update you on your return.

Thoroughly trustworthy, both having spent over 25 years working for large, professional public sector organisations, we are now pursuing a passion for animals and transferring our professionalism into Oxted Cat Care. We are a certified member of the National Association of Registered Pet Sitters, having undertaken their Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Business qualification. Wendy has volunteered previously for Last Chance Animal Rescue in Edenbridge and currently for the Cinnamon Trust. We are fully insured and disclosure checked.

In advance of any first time cat sitting, Wendy will arrange a visit to see you and your pets at a time that is convenient for you (e.g. an evening after work). There is no charge for this visit. She will run through your requirements, collect your key if appropriate, and ask you to run through some paperwork and details, such as providing contact and vet details, and authorisation for us to undertake the service for you.
