I’m Olly Knight, an award winning Kent wedding photographer specialising in natural, documentary style photography. As well as doing wedding photography in Kent I’ve photographed many weddings around the UK and I photograph 2-3 destination weddings per year too. I’ve shot civil ceremonies, Church ceremonies, Cathedral weddings, outdoor weddings, DIY weddings and rural barn weddings. I’ve got to photograph some amazingly creative and unique occasions and since I started in 2011 I’ve photographed over 150 weddings! I never get bored of weddings. I really love what I do.

Documentary wedding photography is all about capturing the real moments and honest emotions in a non-obtrusive way. Weddings are fantastic to photograph because they are great celebrations where laughter and tears are often seen. When I photograph weddings I’m warm, friendly and relaxed. I wont be shouting at anyone to be anywhere, I’ll just be following what actually happens. The couples that I work for tend to be relaxed couples who want the fun and the atmosphere of their big day captured without having to wait around for hours saying cheese! After most weddings the Bride and Groom say it was lovely to have me at the wedding but they hardly noticed I was there for much of the day. After the big day I get working on the images and I provide clients high resolution colour and black and white edited pictures on beautiful wooden USB flash drives.

I've won a Wedisson Award for one of my 2017 images. I was a finalist at The Wedding Industry Awards in 2015 and I’m thankful that I’m a recommended photographer at some of Kent’s best wedding venues. Please send me a message or have a look at my website to see more of my work.
