Thirsk is a thriving market town, in the heart of Yorkshire and the Dales. Olivia’s Cafe is easy to find situated on the market square.
For us, passion is just as important in baking as flour, yeast and salt.
We’re passionate not just about the traditional craft of real, homemade baking. We also care about using the freshest produce from local suppliers – and about being sustainable and kind to our environment.
We make quality breads of all shapes and size, from ciabatta and sour dough to baguettes, malthouses and focaccias.
We offer other interesting foods too, like seasonal salads, hearty soups, biscotti and banoffee pie – all available to enjoy in our cafes or to take away.
The bakery is a social enterprise, which means we’re committed to sourcing food and drink from growers, producers and processors that use the most sustainable methods possible.
And we’re proud to work with the Clervaux Trust charity. We enable young people to benefit from therapeutic activity and work experience in the kitchen, baker and front of house to develop their independence and positively contribute to the local community. In addition we are building relationships with charities local to our Cafes.
