More about Old Kingstonian Association

The Old Kingstonian Association is the alumni society for students who have studied at the University of Nottingham's Sutton Bonington Campus.

The campus, which now is home to the School of Biosciences and School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, has had a few incarnations. The first was based in the nearby village of Kingston. Kingston therefore lends it's name to OKA and has been used ever since.

The aims of OKA are simple, they are to continue the link between alumni and the campus through reunions in the summer, the sports weekend and of course OKA Agrimag which acts as the annual campus record and has been kept for over 100 years.

Membership in the past has been £10 per annum in exchange for a copy of Agrimag. The remaining donations have been used to part fund a huge number of campus activities including the Farmers' market and the annual SB Bake off.

Changes to the alumni demographic mean that this year, all graduates of both schools on campus will automatically become members for free.

In the future OKA aim to improve regular information updates and encourage networking between different groups.

If you would like more information on OKA or wish to make a donation, please do not hesitate to contact Julian Wiseman Julian.Wiseman@nottingham.ac.uk
