At Offshore Medicals Direct, we offer a range of services to enable you to meet your specific OGUK medical requirements. This may be a standard OGUK medical certificate or involve more specialised assessments for emergency response roles, crane operators and catering staff.

Both of our doctors are currently practising GP's, this means we are up to date with current medication and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions. Many of our patients work offshore and we are aware of the issues certain medical problems may raise in terms of fitness to work offshore.

Our online booking system allows you to submit your medical screening information prior to attending for medical examination. This enables us to anticipate any potential problems in advance of your medical examination and hopefully resolve these prior to your attendance.


Our aim is to help you to meet the medical fitness requirements to work offshore with the minimal inconvenience to yourself. From our experience we are only too aware that patients with medical conditions are often left not knowing what is happening regarding their medical certificate. Without a current certificate patients are unable to return offshore. We can assure you that if there is a question over your fitness to work offshore we will endeavour to resolve this as quickly as possible.
