Oakthwaite Arabians

Oakthwaite Arabians was founded in 1990 when my father Thomas Michael Dobson purchased Tanjara (bay mare) -AHSB XIV (Malabar Prince/ Zilati's Jewel) from Mrs Fiona Walling Cumbria Arabians for my 15th birthday. In 1992 Tanjara gave birth to a bay filly Oakthwaite Sahara (Sire: Sudden Sands) and was retained as one the the stud's main breeding mares. These horses are sensible as they are reared on a hill farm, grazing with cattle and sheep and accustomed to farm machinery.
