Why should I choose this technique?

The common perception of hair extensions are that they damage and make a mess of your natural hair, its true most techniques out there on the market today do! If you were looking to grow your natural hair then most types of extensions are not recommended!
With the hook and latch technique its very different, there is no element to this process that can damage your natural hair, it is also a fantastic option if you wanted to grow out damaged hair or just grow your hair in general. This also recommended for thin hair that can’t hold a weave or can be easily damaged by heat.
The micro link technique is when micro links are sown on to a made to measure weft of hair, your natural hair is then gently pulled through the ring and then tightened

I use 100% natural Remy hair, this ensures all the cuticles are in the same direction, therefore the hair is silky smooth and dose not matt if treated properly.

How long will my hair last?
They will last for 6 months, however if you were to choose a higher quality hair they will last you 18 months.
How do I maintain them?
You treat them like your natural hair, you can wash them with detangling shampoo for dry hair and follow up with a leave in moisturizing conditioner. Never sleep on your extensions whilst wet or damp avoiding matting, be sure to comb through your hair before washing. For longer hair be sure to put your hair up or braid your hair before sleeping on it.

Can I brush, curl, blow-dry and wash them?
Absolutely! You can have lots of fun experimenting with your new look, you can wash them every day although you will find that your extensions look clean and curled for a few days. Great for a get up and go lifestyle.
Colouring and perming can be done too! However you can purchase them already permed and coloured. In the consultation your hair will be ordered to match the style perfectly.
Tightening is required every 7 – 12 weeks, this is when the hair is removed and then replaced, this is not expensive and it’s great to keep you hair for the longest possible time.
Do not use products for oily hair, or any strippers that take out chlorine or product build up. Always use products with low alcohol and for dry hair, these are the best!
Never use hairspray on your hair extensions as it reacts with the process the hair has gone through, your hair will be sure to react, if you want to use a liquid form this is fine but be sure to wash your hair and then dry it properly before going to bed.
