Pontardawe Arts Centre is based in the centre of Pontardawe, a 10 min drive from Jcn 45 M4 and 15mins from Swansea. The Princess Royal Theatre is based in Port Talbot Civic Centre, SA13 1PJ, just off M4 Jcn 41

The exquisite Pontardawe theatre hosts professional work of the highest calibre, from classical music to drama and dance, literature and children's theatre to blues and world music; something for everyone to enjoy.

It boasts a 450 seat theatre, dance studio,3D Digital cinema, meeting rooms, art gallery, fully licensed bar and shortly to open cafe. The venue has wi-fi throughout.

Our regular cinema showings provide the opportunity to enjoy the latest blockbusters as well as the less mainstream art house movies provided by our residential film society.

If the visual arts is more your thing why not call in to Oriel Lliw Gallery to while away the time amongst our regular exhibitions.

Pontardawe Arts Centre is also available for private hire, for conferences, charity events, professional and amateur groups, weddings and presentations. Ask to speak to the venue manager for more details.

Meetings, Seminar & Conferences’
The Princess Royal Theatre is available for a range of meetings seminars and conferences that can accommodate delegates in various layouts, all which can be adapted to suit your personal requirements. For large scale events the theatre is an excellent venue for up to 798 delegates. We also provide banqueting facilities. The fully seated theatre boasts a capacity of 798 for full theatre events and banqueting facilities.

The theatre is equipped with WiFi, photocopying service, fax facilities, LCD projector, 6ft - 8ft front & Rear Projection screen, OHP and screen, lectern, 35m slide projector, sound and lighting equipment, 6ft - 3ft Rectangle Tables, Round Tables to seat 10 and exhibition boards which are all available on the premises.

Private Hire
In addition to the live programme the theatre is available for private hire. We can offer professional and amateur shows, fashion shows, charity concerts, trade fayres, product launches, presentations, weddings and parties.

All your technical requirements are catered for with a full compliment of technical equipment and fully trained technical staff.
