More about Norwich Pub Tours

About 160 years ago, Norwich played host to as many as 600 pubs. Nowadays, Norwich is said to have 365 pubs, one for every day of the year, showcasing just how much public houses are a part of Norwich life.

With this in mind it comes as little surprise that they've played such an important role in Norwich's rich history and culture. From feeding and watering those working on Norwich's famous Cathedral, to hosting some of the world's most legendary musicians, and even being the scene of some of the city's most brutal crimes, our pubs have seen a lot.

These days, they're famous for slightly different (and slightly more savoury) reasons. They've helped to give Norwich its reputation as one of the best cities for beer in the country, and it's easy to see how. The Fat Cat, for example, has won the National CAMRA Pub of the Year Award. Twice. The Tap House on Redwell Street offers over 10 craft beers, and the Belgian Monk on Pottergate boasts a massive 45 beers from Belgium and beyond.

No one knows more about the fascinating history of these pubs then our enthusiastic and friendly tour guides. Offering public tours every fortnight and private, bespoke tours to groups of up to 30, we'll take you around some of the city's most weird and wonderful pubs, telling you their stories over a drink (or five…).

Just send us a message on here, or check out our website, for further details and bookings.
