Ninfield Preschool

Welcome to Ninfield Pre-School!
We have been offering childcare to children of Ninfield and surrounding areas since we first registed in 1972. We operate out of The Cottage at Ninfield Memorial Hall and have three versatile outdoor play areas allowing outdoor play whatever the weather!

We are registered with Ofsted to provide care and education for 15 children in our cottage, or 28 children when using the hall, aged between 2 and 4+ years.

Ninfield Pre-School have tremendous links with Ninfield Primary School, and there are many dates throughout the calendar year that see us visiting the school and their productions and where the Reception class visit us. It is important to both us and the Primary school that the transition between Pre-School and Primary is a smooth and happy one for the children.

Our team of fully qualified and experienced staff are parents themselves and pride themselves on providing a caring place for children to play and learn. By working to a 5 to 1 ratio we ensure each child receives personal care and attention.

Ninfield Pre-School is a registered charity and is run by a committee of volunteers made up of parents and members of the local community. The management committee is responsible for policies, finance, and staffing. We also have a Friends of Ninfield Pre-School group dedicated to fundraising and organising events. We offer childcare from 8am until 4pm, Monday to Friday over 38 weeks and currently offer 15 hours of grant funded childcare to eligible 3&4yr olds and will be offering the new 30hrs funding to eligible children from September 2017.

Our aim is to provide good quality, affordable childcare to local children and we deliver this through our committed group of parents and local people who make up our management committee. We are proud to be non-profit making, run solely for the benefit of the pre-school children and families in our local community.
